Leave or end a match
Read the exit confirmation before leaving. Leaving a waiting lobby and abandoning a game in progress have different effects.
| Situation | Effect |
|---|---|
| Waiting lobby | Leaving removes your participation; host controls can differ from other seats. |
| Game in progress | Abandoning can end the match for everyone. It does not simply hand your seat to someone else. |
| Spectating | Leaving the viewing session does not make you a player. |
| Locked match | The normal leave action may be unavailable. |
Leave deliberately
Open the match's exit control, read the confirmation, and confirm only if its effect matches what you intend. Closing a browser tab is not the same as submitting the leave action. You can normally return through your matches or the saved match link.
If you want another game with the group, use Play again.
